Drawing on the wedding traditions and festive clothes of the people of Hundorf, the story unfolds through two timeless characters who defy the passage of time and chronological order. It suggests a spiritual journey in search of fulfillment through love, conveying the idea that everyone has a soulmate whom they will find again, even at the end of their physical life or beyond it. The entire story is rooted in the transmission of values and spiritual heritage preserved alongside the evolution of society, passed down from one generation to the next, thus symbolizing life as it flows in an absurd manner through their story, set in a magical space in Transylvania.
A collaborative project by Sara Mitrofan, Anastasia Grigore, Valentin Todorescu, and Diana Păun, developed during the residency "Acasă la Hundorf" (2021).
