An observational film about winter traditions in Romania, focusing especially on the "bear" tradition. Every New Year's Eve, people wear bear skins and travel from house to house, wishing prosperity and good fortune to others through a ritual that is almost shamanic.
A project realized in collaboration with the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, Paris; the Museum of the Romanian Peasant, Bucharest; Anca Poterasu Gallery; and Ceata Ursilor din Laloaia.
